Kamloops Canoe and Kayak Club Summer Camps - REGISTRATION

Registration Opens April 1st

Ages:

  • Specific ages for each camp.
  • Please see the description of each camp and ages listed for each week.
  • The youngest eligible age is 7 years old for all summer camps.

Time: 

  • Monday - Friday (INCLUDING the August BC Civic Holiday)
  • 8.30am - 3.00pm

Fees:

  • Early Bird Registration Fees: $255/youth
    • April 1-15, 2023
  • Full Summer Camp Registration Fee: $270/youth  
    • April 16, 2023 until camps are full and/or day before camp begins.

Summer Camp pricing includes CKBC/KCKC one week recreational membership, one week recreational insurance and all paddling equipment.

What to bring to summer camp: 

  • lunch, snacks, towel, sandals/flip-flops, water bottle, swimsuit, runners, sunscreen, change of clothes according to weather, hat

Program Dates:

Week 1: July 3 - July 7

Week 2: July 10 - July 14

Week 3: July 17 - July 21

Week 4: OFF

Week 5: July 31 - August 4

Week 6: August 7 - August 11 (Includes Monday August 7 - BC CIVIC HOLIDAY)

Time: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

 

Summer Camp Day Extension

The Summer Camp Day Extension program is NEW for 2023!

  • Recreational FUNdamentals Paddling for youth ages 7 to 14!
  • This is a great option for youth who would like to extend their Summer Camp session beyond 3pm too!

What to bring to your session: snacks, towel, sandals/flip-flops, water bottle, swimsuit, runners, sunscreen, change of clothes according to weather, hat.

The Fee for ONE week includes:

  • Insurance
  • Coaching Fees
  • Use of KCKC Equipment

    KCKC Summer Camps - Registration

    The Kamloops Canoe and Kayak Club is located at the Kamloops Water Sports Facility at Shumway Lake.  The facility is 19km from Aberdeen Mall or 17 minutes.  Please be aware that transportation to Shumway Lake is NOT provided. 

    What to bring to summer camp: lunch, snacks, towel, sandals/flip-flops, water bottle, swimsuit, runners, sunscreen, change of clothes according to weather, hat.

    Camps run Monday to Friday INCLUDING the BC Holiday in August.

    8:30am - 3:00pm
